International Dialogue Initiative: The IDI is a private, international, multidisciplinary group comprised of psychoanalysts, academics, diplomats, and other professionals who meet on a biannual basis to examine large group differences, and the emotionally charged perception of those differences. IDI’s mission is to understand the contribution of past trauma and current large group identity anxieties to disturbed relationships between communities and nations. I am a Fellow with the International Dialogue Initiative.
Turkey-Israel Civil Society Forum (TICSF): The TICSF serves as a platform for creating a solid civil society network between Turkey and Israel. The Turkish-Israeli Civil Society Forum was created to help establish strong and stable civilian foundation for Israeli-Turkish relations. A team of Turkish and Israeli experts from the academia, journalism, business and conflict management have gathered in 2011 in response to the Turkish-Israeli crisis, looking for ways to repair and reaffirm relations. Following several meetings and in-depth research, the team decided that the most effective way to promote bilateral relations would be done through a "bottom up" approach by creating and encouraging civil society cooperation I serve on the board of TICSF.
